Reverend Doctor Michael Bernard Beckwith,more commonly known as Michael Beckwith, is a world-renowned leader and teacher in the New Thought-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality and also the founder of Agape Spiritual Centre. He also co founded the Association for Global New Thought and the Season for Nonviolence to serve as extensions of his vision for one human family bonded strongly on a foundation made of peace.

In 1986 Rev. Michael founded the Agape Spiritual Centre, a trans-denominational community. Agape means “unconditional love” in Greek. This centre and Agape's vision is powered by the love of Spirit. And with this love, Michael Beckwith hopes to inspire everyone to spread love to the world.
From 1986 to today, Beckwith has recruited 9,000 faithful and loyal devotees and more than a million friends from all over the world. The centre's outreach and community programs feed people who do not have homes or shelter, they serve the incarcerated and their families; they promote advocacy in protecting the planet, and build orphanages all around the world for children have survived war and AIDS.
Rev. Beckwith has is on a quest for peace and unity. And this has got to the attention of people who have the same goals. These people include Mohandas K Gandhi's grandson Arun Gandhi, who shared the national co-directorship of A Season for Non-violence with Rev. Beckwith. A Season for Nonviolence's aim is to promote the teachings and principles of nonviolence as embodied by Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. SNV is endorsed by UNESCO and winners of Nobel Peace Prize. Other highly notable supporters include His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet, Dr. C.T. Vivian, Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne of Sri Lanka, Coretta Scott King, and Dr. Robert Muller.
As the Association for Global New Thought's co-founder and president, Rev. Michael Beckwith, together with the other leaders, members, and friends, stands at the cutting edge of change and calls for an end to any kind of human suffering. He organizes events like the Awakened World Conference annually. This conference brings scientists, sociologists, spiritual leaders, economists, and international forecasters to gather together to guide humanity to its highest potential.
Michael Beckwith also teaches meditation, dynamic affirmative prayer, and speaks at many conferences and seminars each year. He also is the originator of the Life Visioning Process. He has also authored books such as Inspirations of a Heart (which is nominated as a finalist for the Nautilus Book Award), Forty Day Mind Fast Soul, A Manifesto for Peace, and Living from the Overflow. He studied Science of Mind greats like Ernest Holmes and Unity founder Charles Fillmore and from these new thoughts combined with his passion for traditional religions like Buddhism & Hinduism, founded his faith and philosophy.
He has also partnered with Bob Proctor & Jack Canfield in The Science of Getting Rich Club and just made a great PBS documentary The Secret is You! His movie and book Spiritual Liberation came out last year and is great to watch. If you want to go vegan, Mike´s your guy!
